Great capture! I The bird is nice and sharp and the fog creates an interesting mood. I would like to see the bird a bit higher compositionally, and just a slight bit more to the left - granted, I completely understand how difficult capturing birds in flight can be! Nice job. |

Nice picture and the rainbow you captured gives it some 'oomph.' I also like Marla's B&W edit, albeit you lose the rainbow that way. I think a somewhat 'pano' crop would emphasize the expansive "bowl" look. I don't have access to a good editing tool right now, but here is a try at what I was thinking. Nice picture! |

I was going to make the same comment about the cat looking at the dog! Nice picture of the two.
I wonder what this would look like cropped to the vertical and zoomed in to emphasize the interaction between the two. Unfortunately, I don't have access to an editing tool right now. If you could to this over, I suggest getting close to the two and taking the picture in portrait mode. |

Agree - great job on having the eagle eye on the trail. I like how you arranged them. Did you see how it would look if you laid the cedar branch on top of the deciduous leaf? I wonder what that would look like?...might cover up too much. Another idea is to run with the symmetry idea and lay them exactly side-by-side or top-bottom....? |
