Love the detail. my eye is not as good as Peter's so I am not distracted by sharpening halos. I see rim lighting. However I am learning. |

Michael, beautiful image. I would like to be able to see the water in the lower part of the image. There seems to be some detail available in the water. Great sky and tree line. |

Interesting capture and an enjoyable image. My mind takes me to an image of an alien entity with multiple eyes. That's a compliment. Well, done. An interesting image. |

I also like peter's suggestion. I like your visual idea in selecting the perspective and the timing. As an experiment i might have tried to darken the fore ground and using a circular gradient brightened the area around the lighthouse and the reflection, thus focusing on the light house and reflection as the primary subject. |

It's been several years since last visited Bodie. lots of opportunities. I like your image very much. Interesting perspective. Perhaps I might have tried to blur the sky a bit to maintain a consistent perspective with the rest of the image. |

Hello Peter. I also have very little experience with still life subjects. The color is a bit more interesting. This was an experiment in moving away from my comfort spot. Thanks for your comment. |
