Hello Ella. This image did not touch me as much as previous images. However, that is so subjective as to me almost a meaningless comment. The execution is very well done. Your intended audience I suspect would be pleased. Textures and sharpness are very well captured. I have a question if I may (actually anyone may respond). I want to experiment with still life images, a new challenge for me. For a successful still life, how important is the relationship of the various elements to each other versus the importance of the compositional arrangement of the elements? Stated another way, for a still life to be successful do the elements need to have a thematic relationship to each other, or is the element arrangement (the composition), and lighting of course, more important. Perhaps both are equally important. |

Hello Michael. Great clouds. The roof at the is a bit confusing to me. I assume it's a roof. I it's pattern is interesting. Don't know if more could have been included. Regardless, love the clouds. |

John, I have nothing to add to previous comments. I like the abstract and the flow of the lines. Well seen. |

Ella thanks for your comments. I agree that more definition in the water is needed. Checking the Metadata the exposure was 30sec at f14 and ISO 400. Honestly, I am not sure why selected such a prolonged exposure. |
