John, an interesting abstract capture. I particularly like the rim lighted ice pieces. I noticed in the upper left at the thirds the outline seems to resemble a smiling mouth. It would seem that you might have more opportunities next winter to explore what you can find. There might be an interesting series from among those frozen puddles. |

Hello Peter. Another wonderful Image of Iceland. I hope to go there someday. I'm 75 so I may need to hurry. Covid restrictions severely interfered with my traveling. That being said, the capture of the spray above the falls is great. In processing I might have tried show gradually diminishing sunlight from the falls into the back ground to simulate light coming through a break in the clouds. Not sure my photoshop skills could pull that of believably. |

Hello Ian. Your title helps put the image in to a meaningful context. Although even without the title one cannot help but wonder what the person is thinking about. I think you have successfully captured what the scene invoked in you. I think Ella's fog suggestion might be fun to play with. |

Michael, very powerful image for me. Clouds are one of my favorite subjects. Perhaps I need to try them in infrared. The summer time cloud formations in Florida can be amazing. |

Hello Ella. beautiful still life. I love the lighting on the eggs as well as the composition. I like the cloth. A nice contrast to the bowl and additional texture. Was the Harold Ross workshop on-line or in person? |
