Hello Ella. Well done. I like the contrast between the stationary sculpture and its moving image in the reflection. An interesting juxtaposition and contrast, an object both stationary and in motion. |

Nicely done Paul. I like your composition. My eye easily follows the stream from the top to the bottom of the image. Interestingly the fern on the rock on the left bottom attains much more prominence in the B&W version than in the color version. In the B&W version the flow of water leads me to that branch as a destination. |

Hello Michael. Bryce is full of images. A long time since I was there. Nice lighting on the HooDoos combined with a great sky. I might have tried to crop out or burn in the small HooDoo on the lower left of the image. It tends to draw my eye toward that portion of the image.
By the way congrats on being asked to participate in the digital showcase. |

Hello Ian. Eye catching perspective and dramatic against the clouds. Sharp image. I wonder how a little circular motion blur would work. |

Magical light Peter. Quite amazing actually. The image has a supernatural feel for me. Can you share the color version? |

Hello John. A very imaginative experiment. In an image such as this I enjoy the simple shape and the various tones of gray and how they all interact. There is a streak of lightness in the upper right corner that I might have cloned out as being a little distracting. Keep experimenting and sharing your creations. |

Hello Ela. Thanks for your comments. Would you increase the contrast for the image overall or just in certain areas? I can do the latter with luminosity masks. |
