Nicely done Rashid. I also would prefer that the whit areas on the elbow were more subdued. My eye wants to go there. Perhaps in the color version that area is less eye catching. |

An amazing image. Works great in B&W with your processing. The low angle adds mystery to the image. |

John I'll echo the others. Cleaver shot of a group of photographers. They look very engrossed. |

Well done Ella. Interesting composition and use of Topaz Impressions. Also may I say you did a great job maintaining tones in the black hat. |

Thank you Ella. I will try the tighter crop. determining the best crop is always difficult for me. Have I included too much or too little? I think I tend to err on including too much.

Paul very nice image. I like the mood of the rocks receding into darkness in the background. I like hoe you cropped and processed the image. It seems to me that the amount of blur you want in the water is very much an individual esthetic choice. The degree of blur you chose really lets me feel the sense of being immersed in the sound and wetness of the water. |

Powerful landscape. The clouds and wonderful drama speak to the grandeur of Yosemite. The waterfall, my guess is Bridal Vail, when contrasted to the surrounding mountains really helps me feel the scale of the landscape in Yosemite. As always beautifully processed. |

Beautiful image Peter. I am not qualified to criticize your images other than to express my enjoyment of what you present. Actually this comment applies to all members of the group I belong to. Each member of the group is very accomplished, and recognized by the photographic community. I feel a bit constrained because my training was In the California West coast photographic tradition; Ansel Adams, Edward Weston, Bret Weston, Paul Caponigro, Morely Bear, Ruth Barnhart. I have spent time with each of these photographers, and thus was influenced by their style and photographic philosophy. I took several courses with John Sexton, where I learned to produce fine B&W prints.
John was/is the official printer of Ansel Adams negatives trust.
I feel that my approach to photography is very different than that is represented by PSA's B&W philosophy.
