Hi Nadia,
The No 2 was on all the pencils in Grade School which stands for No. 2 lead hardness scale, and I think it's still on most pencils, but on this one particular brand it was at the bottom of the pencil so I moved it up. |

Hi Nadia,
Nice. This has a wonderful mood. Well done. One detail is that the old tire tracks don't make sense heading into the middle of the store. Just a nit. |

Hi Brian,
Interesting technique on the pieces. Very cool. However, I agree with Brad on the lack of a story, which would enhance this greatly. |

Melissa,
Good image. Agree about the size of the lady bug. The square aspect ratio works well and I like the coloring of the bug. |

Hi Brad,
Nice one. Good job blending the images together. Makes a nice story. I think that the reflections on the legs of the chair are very distracting, and really don't make sense given the fire as the light source. I'd just take them down quite a bit. |

I like Bruce's crop below for the reasons he gave.

Hi Don,
Cool shot at the moment of impact that can only be reasonably be done with newer technology. I've got 40 FPS and that sometimes isn't enough. |

Hi Gerald,
I like your crop with the waves as the face of the surfer is partially hidden, the addition of the waves gives it more appeal. The matching color blue gives the image interest. |

Hi Andre,
Love the capture at the end of the swing and the clear view of the face. Sharp as well. I find the background dominates the shot as I think the story is the golfer as opposed to the location of the course. My take would be to blur the background and use this in the Color category instead of PJD, but not sure if anyone in this group enters exhibitions. |

Hi Issac,
Perfectly captured image. Nice. I would make this a vertical crop and remove the players on both sides as they don't add to the story. The top needs more breathing space if you have it to give.
Best,
Tom

Hi Ron,
Well done. Sharp image, although I've found 1/1000th to be hit or miss for Rugby. I like the two faces are visible and there is a good story. |
