Hi Jan,
Thanks for the great suggestion. Seems obvious now.

Cool technique. One idea: Clone in the original image of the woman and dog into the altered image. It would give you a subject to look at. |

Cool technique. How about making the basket the only non-blurry part of the image by cloning it into the image? |

Kathy has a good idea here. I would flip it so that the person is facing left to right as Lisa suggests and it has the added bonus of making more sense with the hoe/stick working in the center of the flower instead of the edge. A tighter crop would help. |

Hmmm. I almost never use textures, actually probably never. I just don't think about them, and am envious of those that make it work on their images. I'll give it a go and if I have time, post it here.
Thanks for the challenge. |

Hi Peggy,
Thanks. The green is from a solid green layer with color blend mode. The bricks are soft light. The face is pin light.
Cheers. |

I think Kathy has a good idea about adding fire to the tops of the trees. Good work on creating a moody image. |

Hi Alan,
Well done composite. Clever use of the images to create something new and has a bit of a story. Thanks for taking the time to explain your process. I'll save it for future reference as will replace my old method.
One small nit, the shadow of the box seems odd to me. Seems too long and narrow, instead of square, and it seems too small. Cheers. |

Hi Peggy,
I like Kathy's idea. Also, the feet of the coyote has an abrupt ending, so I would suggest using the eraser at low flow to make the feet blend into the scene. |

Hi Kathy,
What comes first, lyrics or music? In this case, it was the image, then the story. |

Thanks Aavo,
Thanks for the dream imagery. I'll have to think if I can somehow get a better story. |

Thanks Brad. I would like to do just that, but really haven't come up with a good idea that would work. |

Thanks Alan. I graduated from Oakland University, but spent a few weekends at A-squared visiting friends and my sister worked there and her sons are U of M graduates. Fun times back in the early 70's. |
