Well you could go to the fish market and shoot a whole fish and then warp it like you did for this one.

Interesting textures. Like Brad and Kathy, I feel it needs a focal point. I think it would be better suited for the non-creative category. You might want to play with B&W.

Interesting effect. I do agree with Kathy on the black seed pods. I think your post treatment abstracted the pod shapes too much so they are not recognizable as seed pods. Perhaps you could take this image and put the original on a top layer in PS and mask in the original pod shapes which I think are very attractive.

Love the image. I'm assuming that since you used clip art from a website for the fish, that this image would be not eligible for PSA competitions? But overall, a nice work of art.

I agree with Kathy's suggestion. I think the hand looks out of place and would look better if the textures were the same. Also the bright spot on the bottom of the hand doesn't match the landscape lighting, which I feel could be improved.

Thanks for the crop suggestion. For me, I hate to create phantom limbs that aren't attached to a body. I tried a square crop with the orb on the upper left third and with Brad's suggestion, I think it is definitely a stronger image.
