I'm a big fan of Mike Moats and wish he would do a workshop closer to where I live. I really like this picture but agree with Karen that I would bring down the highlights a little to show more detail in the water drops. I actually like the color version of this one a little better I think. It's a very nice up-close/macro shot though. |

That is a beautiful shot. I love the fog in the valleys. I think I would try to raise the contrast of the sky a little to bring out a little more detail in the clouds. Otherwise I really like this picture the way it is. |

This is very creative. It looks almost abstract. I'm a little confused as to how the original image turned into the final image. They are quite different. |

I'm torn as to whether I like the color or black and white better. There is a lot of really nice contrast in the black and white version. I do think I agree that I like the black and white one better. It's a great shot. Their faces are very clear. |

I really like this. I like the way you caught the action and emotion on their faces. The softness doesn't really bother me as it just looks like high speed motion. I do think it would be nice if a lower f-stop were used to slightly blur the background although that could also be done in post. I like the red and blue colors of the 2 players as contrast. I personally think the red line should be left as it seems to add some color to the green field. |
