This is very creative. I live in Portland Oregon and every year they have a pumpkin boat race where they carve out huge pumpkins and people paddle them around the Willamette River. It's quite comical. This reminds me of that event. Your chihuahua's should come compete in it. |

I really like flower still life shots. This is really nice. I agree with the others that the petal on the table really helps finish the picture. I also agree that it would be nice to somehow shoot or process it to hide the crumpled background. I don't know enough about still life shooting to suggest how that could be done. But I really like the overall colors of the table and flower. They seem to work really well together. |

This is a beautiful images. You composed it very well. I love all the colors and the leading lines are fantastic. I also love all the colors. The ferris wheel is beautiful. Then also by using f/16 you captured some nice star effects on the light. I can see a little color noise in the sky that could be removed. Other than that I think this is a very nice picture.

I also noticed the face. I thought it was kind of neat. I agree with Prakhar and kind of prefer the original image. I really like the moon and clouds in the original as well as the ice in the water. Those are all kind of lost in the painterly version. I think it would be nice to just crop the original version down where the top is a little closer to the mast on the ship, something a little like this.

I love the colors in this picture. There is a very nice contrast between the brown land and blue sky. I am a big fan of long exposure pictures so I like the clouds having a slightly soft, long exposure look to them.
I agree with the others that I think it needs something in the foreground to give it some interest. It looks like the picture was taken at eye level. Maybe just getting down close to the ground with some rocks in the foreground would improve it. But overall it is a very pleasing picture to look at.

I really like this image. As others stated, it really frames Portland quite nicely. It appears that they raised the bridge for all the canoers which I find amusing. I'm a little torn on whether some clouds would help or hinder the image. It seems that clouds could make it look a little busy. I think I would composite in some clouds and see if that makes it look too busy. But I personally really like it as is. Great job!
BTW I also really like this as it is where I live. It is the Hawthorne bridge. |
