Thank you for all of the input. I really appreciate the small lesson Jon. It is exactly what I wanted to learn how to do!
I am excited for next months photos! |

When I look at the original and then monochrome photo it makes me feel like the photo has aged and the canoes look more weathered. Neat!
For me I wish the foliage behind that lower canoe wasn't there. It distracts me. Other then that looks good :) |

I agree with above. The background is a little distracting. A blur would be the best and easiest method to make it even better! That face on that monkey makes me laugh. |

I like this photo!
I am not sure what to say to critique it as I am new and don't know what i'm looking at. |

This picture makes me feel a bit anxious to look at. A photo should illicit emotion. The long pointy thumb really gives her a witch feel. I like the contrast behind her head. Her hair doesn't get lost in the background. |

I really like what you did to the dirt. You also did a good job removing the signs behind the two. You really got this at the perfect moment!
In my opinion the bull is a little shiny and maybe would look cool more matte? If possible maybe remove the cars too!
This is a cool picture and the dirt splashing up is great! |

I really enjoy the skyline/bridge and what you did with the lighting. Each picture looks like it was taken at a different portion of the day.
I would maybe remove some of the long grass in the foreground. It takes away from the really nice skyline/bridge.
I really like the picture. |
