An excellent image from a wonderful conversion to mono. A minor suggestion is to crop some off the right side so that Mount Rainier is not in the exact center of the image. |

I like your conversion to mono - so much more interesting than the color image. I suggest considering cropping some off the left side so that the largest tree is at a 1/3 golden mean line. Also, perhaps cloning out some of the top branches of the large tree so they do not touch the top of the image. I tried to do so but my quick attempt looks like a bad haircut. |

I like your conversion from color and the nice range of tones but I am bothered by just the horses' ears appearing at the bottom of the image. Could more of the horses' heads be included? |

I like your conversion from color but feel there is no focal point to the image. There is so much going on in the image that I suggest you select a portion of the image and try to create some movement and direction perhaps something like in my revision. I liked the horizontal limbs and tried to create some movement toward the two upright trees. |

Very interesting. There is so much going on that perhaps a more concentrated focus might be interesting as in my alternative image. |

I like the varying shades of gray and the abstract feeling of the image. But, to me I prefer a more horizontal view. So in Photoshop I selected the image and using the "transform size" I enlarged just the horizontal size. |

Very interesting. Very creative. The image can be viewed again and again and still be interesting. No suggestions. |

Very interesting image. I think I would try leaving the four objects at the end of the "poles" in the original format that is without the filter being applied. And, perhaps also the sky. |

I love your image. The perspective keeps changing the more I look at it.

What a wonderful image. Great color. Great composition. Great interest. Nothing to change, just great. |

A great image. Let me suggest an alternative view. Isn't your eye attracted to the large rock on the right side of the image? If so, shouldn't that be the main focus of the image and much of the left side cropped? |

The image lacks a point of interest. A beautiful sky is not enough. I thought most of the items on the right side of the image were not of much interest so I cropped them out. Then I eliminated the stop sign and some other signs. Then I increased the color and contrast and cropped some off the top and left side of the image. |

A wonderful portrait. My preference is the color version. In my revision I cropped tighter, used the clone tool to reduce some bright areas in the hands, darkened the end of the cane and then darkened and blurred the background. |

I love the mono version and like Mitch's correction. It would have been even better if there were fewer cars in the image but still a great photo. |

I love the image exactly the way you presented it - bright, cheerful and interesting. I would not change anything. Kudos! |

I originally cropped my image, as Terry mentioned, to focus on the main subject. I liked the other objects in the room but thought they were a distraction to the subject. However, after thinking about the image I tried flipping the image horizontally and now think those items are now longer a distraction. |

Thanks for your reply. I was amazed and how much detail you were able to get from such a dark JPEG image. Please see my revised image below. |
