I cropped out most of the left side (and most of the windmill) and then used the clone tool and pasted small parts of the tree over the remaining windmill legs. |

I like the image and the IR conversion. My only suggestion is to consider adding some curve to the stem which I did in my revision but perhaps too much. |

To me it seems that there are two images, the old windmill and the old wheel. In my revision I eliminated the windmill as, to me, it seems to distract from the image of the wheel. I also reduced the contrast slightly and cropped some off the left side. |

I like the original image with its vibrant orange color. I am bothered by the mono version in that the wood behind the blossom is in sharp focus while the wood below the blossom is blurred. In my revision I kept the nice sharp orange blossom but then blurred the wood behind it so that all the background has about the same amount of blur. I also cropped some off the top of the image and a slight amount from the right side. |

I like your conversion from the original as the ladder and sky areas are not that interesting. And, I do agree with Mike's version in that more color and contrast is needed. |

In creating The Soda Fountain, I did not like my color version or my mono version. So, in my final version I had one layer in Photoshop in mono and another layer above it in color which I kept at 55% to allow the mono version to dull the colors. And in the top layer I had just the soda fountain items which I kept in the original color and added a slight amount of Topaz heavy metal filter. I also cropped the image much tighter. Thanks for your suggestions. |

I set up a new layer and used a Topaz 2 heavy metal filter which I applied at about 70%. |

I like your image a lot but the white door really bothers me. In my revision I "painted" the door. One other minor point is that I would have preferred less vignetting. Great image. |

I like your revised image but feel the main area of interest is just the two people. So in my revision I cropped out those people on the right side and also much from the bottom of the image. I also added more saturation and dodged the dark shadow areas. |

I like your revision and agree that with so many people on the ground level and with the bright truck that including them would be a distraction. In my revision I cropped some off the right side so as to put the statue in a power point and have him looking into the space in front of him. |

I really like this photo. To me the main interest is the child walking toward the goats so in my revision I cropped the left side and some off the top so that the child is now in one of 1/3 power points. I see nothing that would disqualify the image from competing in Travel. |
