A very interesting photo but I am troubled by the TV antenna which occupies so much of the image and competes with the view of the city. Consider either cloning out the antenna or cropping out that portion of the image - perhaps just a vertical photo featuring roof tops and the city. |

I haven't thought about St Louis Canyon since we honeymooned in Starved Rock State Park 61 years ago. Thanks for the image. I opened the original image in Photo Shop Raw, made adjustments and converted to mono using Silver Efex. In my image I tried to have more detail in the shadows. I also cropped some off the left side and off the top so that the waterfall is no so centered. Then I used the dodge tool to brighten the waterfall, the shadows and the pool. |

I like the image and your composition but I would like to see more contrast in the window reflections. Also, the white sky is distracting and needs to be darkened. |

Very nice image and very nice conversion. My only suggestion would be to add some fog to the bottom area of the photo where the bushes are. I once added some fog to a photo of a train but can't remember how I did it. |

Mitch, by adjusting levels I was able to get the look that I mentioned but I also used the dodge tool to brighten some of the frosted foliage. I also selected one of the blue color bands in the sky and using the clone tool was able to reproduce that color throughout the sky. |

I like the image and agree that the original image is too blue. My feeling is that the top portion of the image is somewhat overexposed. I suggest selecting just the top half of the image and then try adjusting levels and see if more color and contrast can be added to those areas. |

Very interesting photo. I suggest straightening the image and cropping some off the right side so the subject is not so centered. |

A great photo. I suggest darkening the bright white areas and also cloning out the guy behind the main subject. |

A wonderful image with a great background. My only suggestion, as had been suggested, is to tone down the branch. |

Mitch, I revised my image but had not cropped on the right as you had suggested which I really like. Please see my revision. Welcome to our group. |

Thanks for all the suggestions. I went back to my original image and removed my shoes from the stairs, reduced the orange color, reduced noise, cropped more on the right side, added a little more width to the left side and also revised the original pattern at the bottom of the stairs. |
