11 Jan 20 Reply Allen, I agree. An empty bench is not particularly interesting so I have added a man sitting on the bench. And, I have eliminated the drinking fountain and change the title to Vista House Meditation. Jan 9th

11 Jan 20 Comment I like the mono image a lot but feel the crop is too tight. I like Tom's revision where he added space on the left side. I would also like to see a little more space above the head. Jan 8th
11 Jan 20 Comment I much prefer the mono version but am bothered by the very bright sky, the smiling driver and the distracting bushes. I prefer including the entire image except to crop out the driver and as Stephen suggested to flip the image which I feel brings out a lot of human interest. Jan 8th

In my version I first tilted the image counter clockwise, included more of the stems, sharpened the two smaller stems separately which I think helped reduced the softness of the far right stem, and finally burned in the stems to reduce their brightness. 11 Jan 20 Reply I used the Nik Silver Effect conversion filter called full contrast and structure. I found this filter sometimes introduces a lot of noise which I then selectively remove. Jan 8th
