I like the image but not the very bright area behind the subject. So I darkened the background but also brightened the face and especially the eyes. Then I cropped the image - perhaps too much. |

I like the image of the young lady and her dog but also find the background distracting. And, Jim I think your color revision with an Irish background is outstanding.

I have no idea why the foliage is not white which is what always (or almost always) happens with IR. I went back to the original RAW image and converted to mono with exactly the same result - the foliage is black. So I have no explanation but, I think, the dark foliage works well in this photo. |

I prefer the original color version over the mono version. However, I felt the image was slightly slanted clockwise. So I straightened the image and cropped, as Allen suggested, but not as much. And I also darkened the image a little. |

I like the mono version. I have created an alternative image with a much lighter subject and much darker background - not better, just different. |
