11 Mar 18 Comment Thanks for your comments. I agree that there is too much black at the bottom of the image. I've lightened the image, as Tom suggested, and cropped the dark area at the bottom of the image and also the small tree on the right side of the photo. Mar 30th
11 Mar 18 Comment I have tried numerous time to photograph clumps of trees - without success. I like your approach of not including the base of the trees which eliminates many distracting elements. And I like Tom's crop even more. Mar 30th
11 Mar 18 Comment I like the mono version much more than the original color photo. I agree with Tom that the photo needs to be cropped as there is too much background area. In my revision I did not crop as much as Tom but also darkened the background and also blurred it some and also brightened the face. Mar 30th
