11 Aug 17 Comment I like Alan's suggestion to lighten the photo and to level the table. I would also suggest that the flowers and the dog are too bright and distracting from the main subject so I would darken them. And, I would also try to slightly lighten the woman's face. Aug 18th
11 Aug 17 Comment The black and white photo is great with much more interest that the original color photo. I like cropping out most of the large rock at the bottom of the photo but wonder if the water just above it could be burned in slightly to reveal more detail. And, I wonder what the photo would look like if the crop at the top of the photo were not quite so low - perhaps just slightly below the tree line so as to reveal some of the stream near the top portion of the photo.
