Victor, I could definitely see this hanging in a dentist's waiting room! Your choice of colors works very well, and the sun rays are well-captured. Nicely done. |

David, when I look at your image, I see a cute squirrel sitting in a baby carriage. It's wonderful! Although I agree with Sophia that you might slightly darken (and add detail) to the squirrel's bright chest, I think the surrounding tree is perfectly handled. Nicely done!

Mark provided his modified image 38 seconds before I submitted mine, and I like what he's done! I suggest trying his cloning (and generative fill) approach, plus a bit of a darker background.

A very attactive high school student, and I love how she is looking at the other girls. She has a great expression.
Richard, I completely agree with your post-processing approach, and I decided to carry it even further. I also slightly darkened the woman on the front-left of the photograph. Your thoughts?

Mark, I like your idea of adding a bit of blur to the green V... and maybe "tone it down" as Sophia suggested. I'll try those things. Thank you!

Thank you, Sophia. I played with the saturation and couldn't decide on the best level. Your input really helps!

Sophia, I agree with Mark! Super capture!
One thing you might try to add more attention to the antenna would be to use the Object selection in either Camera Raw's or Lightroom's masking function. This would allow you to add brightness to them. Although I didn't do a very careful job, here's what I came up with. Does this help?

Keisha, this is a spectacular capture! I love your camera angle and the backlight, which shows the delicate texture of the dragonfly's wings. This should definitely be printed, framed, and hung on your wall! Very well done!
I decided to play a bit with your wonderful image to see if changing the lighting would be interesting. With that in mind, I took it into Camera Raw and modified the highlights and the background. Your thoughts?

Chris, I kept coming back to your image. There's something about it that is fascinating. I like Emil's suggestions but I also wonder if it would be beneficial to add a bit of an anchor (lighter foreground) and some detail in the inside of the building. Your thoughts?

Michael, you successfully turned a snapshot into a fascinating photograph. Did you erase the "extraneous" people individually or use the relatively new Find Distractions tool?
Nice work!

Emil, for a beginner, you're a fantastic still-life photographer. The lighting gives the depth that you were trying for. Excellent!
I found the balance of the image felt a bit "off" to me. I wanted to see more of the smoke and to move the candle closer to the right side. So, with that in mind, I played with your photograph in Photoshop and Camera Raw. I used generative fill to add a bit of room on the left and top. Then, I slightly modified the lighting in Camera Raw.
Many people don't approve of using generative fill since it's introducing AI-created portions to a photograph. I have mixed feelings about this tool. But there are times when I find it's a good way to explore photographic possibilities. |

Mark, I decided to try playing with your image to see how it might look with different lighting and contrast. Since the image that's posted has very low resolution (213 x 320 pixels), my processing introduced some jpeg anomalies. Nonetheless, I hope it offers some ideas.

Adrian, your idea to capture the feeling of a late-night walk is brilliant. I suspect we each have memories of the isolation and darkness of such a time. I understand your decision to make this a high-contrast image. That "fits" with the mood you're creating, and I feel that your processing captures that. However, since you explicitly asked for input, I played with your original photograph to see what I could do.
Using Camera Raw, I made significant lighting and contrast modifications. Naturally, I left the image in a square format. Smiles...
Your thoughts?
