I did record it.. I did not crop the left side because I wanted to portray that the net was the prize he was aiming for.. But I did make the crop at the top and right.. |

Good composition.. Like bruce said the back boards are a little distracting.. I would have made a little more blur on the boards for depth.. other than that.. nice.. |

When I shoot hockey my white balance is on white fluorescent.. If I stick it on auto it gives the yellowy tint which is what I see here.. I don't know what the WB was on but its something I see..
If you think about it next time, try keeping the ISO off auto and keep it low.. I usually put it my cameras auto ISO max between 400 and 800 (sometimes 1600) to reduce the noise.. The Canon 7D is really good with noise below 3200, anything higher makes the noise visible..
Otherwise the speed is good.. stop action on the puck
Here is just an example.. I just changed the wb in the camera raw filter.. it wasn't the raw file so I had to look at my hockey picture and duplicate it in the filter.. |
