You captured the expressions of both the rider and horse, telling different stories from each other. I like the separation of the rider's nose from the hair knot on the horse's mane. Like other commenters, I would have liked more space around both subjects. |

Your control of wide tonal range and detail in the intricate patterns are well done. |

I like your minimalist approach that reveals textures, a sense of depth, and some movement via the raindrops. The sense of depth is enhanced by the linear orientation of the benches, the shadows and dark tones on the facing sides of the benches and the rhythm of the separations between them. This is a very nice image that took me some time to appreciate.

This image exudes movement and energy! I like the POV looking directly up the stream. Your settings captured the the water movement while retaining the detail, texture, and avoiding blown out highlights. Did you try a portrait orientation of crop of this scene? |

Welcome to Group 64 Spring Zhang. This is a delicate and peaceful image. I like the back light, especially in the neck area and the tonal contrast between the bird and the background. I would like to have seen more of the highlighting around the other parts of the egret and more of the tail and legs. The bright orbs are interesting but distracting at the same time. |

Don, here is the BW image before the green toning was added. I like the straight BW better. The green was an experiment to give it more of a spring feeling. |
