I like the frazzled glass background. The facets of broken glass at the bottom of the hole are the most interesting feature for me. Too bad that the focus and clarity does not continue to the upper portions around the hole. |

I love the range of textures and the serene mood that the image created in my mind. I agree that the cup can go. |

Your composition captures the active scene very well. Specifically, the different architectural elements such as the towers and stairs and the visitors, combine to tell a story. The detail in the shadowed stonework is clear, which must have been a challenge considering the strong angled sunlight. The darkened sky makes an excellent background that is not distracting. Nice job. |

This is a beautiful, well composed, portrait that works very well in black and white. I can feel the enthusiasm of the three boys. |

I like the strong lines of the bridge and the portion of the shoreline on the right side. I do not care for the sky which is grungy. The horizontal dark/light lines in the clouds look like an artifact and are distracting to me. |

very majestic. The detail in the white head feathers and contrast with the background are excellent. The contrast between the body of the eagle and the background is low. I'm not sure what could be done about that. |

Thanks for the suggestion Stuart. I went back to the mono image in Lightroom and found that I had created a radial filter around the ride, but didn't go far enough. A version with you suggestion is attached. Is this closer to what you were suggesting? |
