What a beautiful gazebo and dramatic sky. Although there was no direct sunlight, none was needed to capture the drama. I can hear the surf. Nicely done. |

The bridge is nicely focused, exposed, and framed. My attention was grabbed by the low bridge in the background with the marina behind. I was also trying to figure out the direction of river flow and where the boats go after passing under the bridge. The difficult is my fault as a civil engineer and getting lost in the details. |

What a great story that is instantly relatable. The diagonals are a very nice added element. I didn't see any blood, so it seems everything worked out well. |

I like the low key high contrast treatment. The level of detail in the bird's eye and feathers is excellent. At first the image seemed too dark but I came to like it the more I looked at the details that still remained. I would remove the distracting highlight above the bird's back. |

The image tells a peaceful story. The main subjects are the dock and the two fishermen. These get lost among the trees, water, and sky in my opinion. So, I would significantly crop the trees, water, and sky leaving the dock, fisherman, and the path to the dock. My crop of the image is attached.
