64 Jan 23 Comment I can feel the chill in the air. The mono version highlights the frosty outlines of the backlit leaves. The biggest effect of the mono conversion is with the red berries that get lost. However that loss is offset by the rim lighting of the leaves and the frost. Jan 14th
64 Jan 23 Comment The perspective you chose gives a majestic even imposing feeling to the building. I would like to see a narrower range of tones on the building. There are very bright areas and dark areas that both hide some details of the architecture. Jan 14th
64 Jan 23 Comment The scale of the pyramid is well emphasized by being framed against the clouds. The effect of time on the structures comes through very clearly. Nice image.

64 Jan 23 Comment The placement of the pier is well-chosen and makes a pleasing and unique composition of this recognizable subject. The dark bird stands out against the bright fog, which suggests that it was much closer than the bridge and lends depth to the image. The truck is distracting to me, but not much could have been done about that. Jan 14th
64 Jan 23 Comment The gradient of density is compelling and adds depth to this image. The animal tracks meandering through the stalks also adds depth. The stark contrast between the black stalks and white snow gives this image a chiaroscuro treatment. Very nice. Jan 14th
64 Jan 23 Comment I would have preferred to see less texture and more of the smooth overall patchy patterns. To me, the textures distract from the patterns. Jan 14th
64 Jan 23 Reply I left the top three window panes in because they reflected a view of the trees behind me and the dark tone showed the swirls in the glass nicely. I did try to cropping and stroke suggestions, see attached. Squaring the cropped image was a challenge, not perfectly well met. Thank you all for your feedback. Jan 13th
