I agree that the crop emphasizing the dark leaves and leaving out the holes in the tree trunk improve the image. The result is closer to my goal or creating order and a sense of depth. |

The texture and carved patterns of the balusters is captivating. Your choice of leaving the background out of focus but still identifiable works well to add depth to the image. Nicely done. |

Your image has excellent depth created by the tonal patterns of the curved ribs or vanes. It even moves when I scroll up and down while looking at it. I have no problem with the leaves. |

This is a captivating view of the isolated rugged beach with distant mountains and a storm in the background. Except for the flat bottom of the storm cloud and the rain below the cloud which are dark, this is a bright sunlit scene. So I would lighten the clear sky above the clouds. |

The gesture on the surfer's face looking at the wave makes this image special. |

Please include a description of the processing. I would like to see more detail in the textures of the stonework. Try to make the tones consistent with either a dark mood or a light mood. This image contains both moods. My preference would be a light mood to match the front light on the building. So I would lighten the clouds on the left and lighten the black areas in the clear sky.

The sculpture and its environment are nicely captured and the door frame is squared. Some tonal contrast was lost in the monochrome conversion. The white stroke is barely visible against the bright building walls and does not add anything. |
