The exposure settings were f/8, ISO 200, 1/800 sec. The image was taken at 400 mm from a moving boat. I cannot recall whether the camera was hand held or mounted on a gimbal head. |

When I look at this image I can hear saxophone solos that I've heard in the past. I think that the corner of the music stand does not add much to the mood of the image and could be removed. |

This is a view of Bryce Canyon that I haven't seen before. It emphasizes the massive size of the hoodoos, which I like. You did a nice job matching the extreme tonal ranges in the scene. Good Job. |

This is a stately portrait of the Big Horn sheep. I think that keeping the rocks at the bottom adds stability also. Well done.

You captured the sense of motion nicely. The bright exposure on the grasses against the black background creates a nice abstract. I am trying to decide whether the subject is the grass or the wind. I think it's the wind.

The multiple cascades give this a palpable sense of motion. Nicely done. I have never used Photomatix on moving water scenes. It appears that Photomatix weighted the moving water parts of the image to the long exposure image. Is this the case? |
