64 Jan 21 Comment The original and the black and white conversion are tack sharp. The loss of focus occurred during resizing below 1 MB. I tried different resizing algorithms with similar loss of sharpness. That being said, the subject of the image is shapes, which come through the resizing. I'm open to suggestions from the group regarding resizing. What methods to you use? Jan 9th

64 Jan 21 Comment On first glance this appeared to be a simple image. The complexity gradually came through the more I studied it. Those details included the patterns showing through the material and the bright edge of the scarf. The white and black frame nicely mirrors the scarf patterns. Jan 7th
64 Jan 21 Comment This is a dramatic treatment of an interesting architectural subject. Based on the camera settings, the scene must have been quite bright. I think the reflections and starbursts around the lights is very effective. Jan 7th
64 Jan 21 Comment The juxtaposition of the complex shadow shapes on the rectangular blocks is very interesting to me. I did not notice that you rotated the image from the original.

64 Jan 21 Comment This image tells a story of a bridge under construction. I think the barrier around the bridge piers, the construction equipment in the background and the bulkhead on the opposite shore all add to the story. The reflections and strong contrast between the sunlit and shadow areas also add a calming feel. It also brings out calming thoughts of fishing. Jan 7th
64 Jan 21 Comment Nice capture of the rugged character of the mountain peaks. I think that allowing the shadow areas to be darker would add needed contrast and interest to the image, even at the loss of detail in the shadows.
