64 Mar 20 Comment I appreciate what you were trying to do, however the out-of-place muntons are much more disturbing to me than the wire. It was the weathered imperfections that attracted my attention to this window, also the leaves growing inside the barn window. Mar 17th
64 Mar 20 Comment Whether the homeless person is the man on the left or the right, to me this image shows a human connection between the two. Who knows, they both might have been travelers of the road and sharing information about the nearest soup kitchen of shelter. Mar 8th
64 Mar 20 Comment I like the smooth delicate lines of the model's arms and face which match the smooth transition of values in the scene. The pearl necklace on the back of her neck is the brightest area, suggesting that this is the main subject. I would have liked to see more of her face. That being said, I liked the portrait very much.

64 Mar 20 Comment This image tells a clear story to me about the woman focused on her handwork with her wares out for display on her sidewalk market. In my mind the shine and texture in the woman's face identifies her as a hard working individual and adds to the impression of her character. The white halo along the womans arm suggest a bit of oversharpening. I like the discussions about the image processing details. I also use Lightroom as my primary image editor for fine tuning. 64 Mar 20 Comment Nice image. It's impressive that you took it with your phone. I like the scene, which reminds me of a busy main street, except that it is a street of water. It tells a story and makes me wonder what it's like to live there. Mar 8th
64 Mar 20 Comment If you were going for somber, you've achieved it. The totem feels heavy and fierce. I would have related better to lighter tones on the totem, although the white does stand out against the black. The dark heavy clouds compete for attention with the totem. I would like to see the clouds recede more into the background.

64 Mar 20 Comment It looks like a trendy place to live. The seasonal timing and time of day enhance this image. I like the fact that the lack of foliage on the trees allows the whole building to be viewed.The lighting on the front is glancing and not overly bright. I can imagine that the water tower is quite colorful and might be a center of interest in a color version. Mar 8th
