64 Aug 18 Comment This image had very high impact to me. The cropping keeps the focus on the whale but still allows enough of the environment to be seen. The upside down body position of the whale adds special interest in my opinion. The monochrome treatment is perfect. I also understand that the observer never knows where and when the whales will breach. That adds another level of excitement. Aug 9th
