64 Jul 18 Comment Thanks everyone for your comments. I was putting myself out there and probing the limits of what the group members found acceptable. Without the two original photos for reference it would have been even more challenging. I think the leopard would be pleased to know that the background was distracting.

64 Jul 18 Comment I find this to be a compelling dream-like image. The blurred water is an interesting effect that keeps me looking for the boundary between the water and the sky and asking whether there is fog adding to the smooth effect. The bright horizontal cloud about one-third up from the base of the lighthouse helps me find the horizon. In what order to you apply the denoise and sharpening? Jul 15th
64 Jul 18 Comment I like the light creamy complexion on the model. I would like to see the background even darker. I'm not too concerned about the texture in the hair since the main subject is the models face and skin. I'll have to look up the Frequency Separation technique and try it. Jul 15th
64 Jul 18 Comment I enjoy the composition with the parent and chick being featured prominently and the reeds and ripples on the water providing the environment. The high key treatment of the water and background works well. The head and beak of the parent seems to my eye to be over-sharpened. Jul 15th

64 Jul 18 Comment To me this image tells a story that I can relate to. It's a story about being connected. I would have liked to see the man's face and expression. I feel that the toning is well done and the bright floor adds contrast to the man's head. Jul 15th
64 Jul 18 Comment I like the angle of the arch that you captured which shows the interior of the arch. The sharpness of the image and the delicate toning add to my enjoyment of this image. Jul 15th
