The intricate patterns of the wood and stark contrast with the stucco are a perfect subject for a monochrome treatment. I would consider cropping out the bottom and right side of the image to keep the focus on the main subject, the house.

This image has the look and feel of a Calotype which I find pleasing. The grain on the right side compliments the style. The water forms a pleasing diagonal. Cropping some of the sky would move the horizon off dead center and give more weight to the silhouetted trees and the two boats.

The stark contrasts make this a compelling image. It is a study in contrasting lines. The shadows of the fence, the wood boards of the building and the three levels of waterfalls and the white water below the final fall all make this a compelling image. |

This image has a wonderful range of textures and tones. The more I look at it the more patterns emerge. Your choice of framing is excellent. |

The intense gaze of the animal is the first thing that jumps out of the image. I wish the eyes were more sharply focused. the highlights on the hair are very nice. |

Wonderful composition. The white tone of the fountains focus attention on them. The entire image is nicely focused. I wouldn't change a thing.
