Very nice use of graphical elements. I am drawn to the shapes formed with physical elements and tonal contrast, like the light and dark shapes on the wet tile/stone work in the background. There is even texture! Nicely done. |

The image has a definite dreamy feel. The white patches on the ground were initially distracting, but grew on me the more I looked at the image. I would try cropping the left side to the center of the rear patch of grass. This would keep the grass leaves framing the figure of your trip leader. |

This image transports me into this village square. I wouldn't change any of the elements. I like the tile/stonework pattern, which echos the sea and even appears to move. The building facades are nice, but would benefit from more contrast between the sunlit and shadowed portions.

Wow. It does have impact, but maybe not the right kind. The dramatic contrast between the grass and dead tree in direct sunlight with the distant hills in deep shadow is too extreme for my taste. I would try reducing the exposure of the grass and dead tree while increasing the exposure of the hills and clouds, still maintaining the impact. I like the composition and the idea. It must have been dramatic to be in the presence of such contrasting light. |

Somber is the word that comes to mind when I view this image. The dark tones on the building emphasize the white outlines of the windows, which I see as the main subject of the image. I would like to see some more detail in the stone work. The sculpture and track provide important environmental information about the station. I suggest a lighter treatment of the clouds on the left side of the image. |

I like the extreme contrast and the diagonal formed by the waterfall. I agree with other comments that the softness of the water is very pleasing. I would try cropping left and right to form a vertical orientation where the waterfall would come very close to the upper left and lower right corners. |
