This photo does a great job of telling the story of folks at leisure. Using the 2 groups of people to `anchor' the waterfall and the mill in the middle of the frame makes for a very visually appealing image.

A good image of an interesting statue. I like the way the lily pads (?) in the water help to frame the statue. I wonder if zooming in closer in an effort to minimize the bland sky would have made for an even better image.

19 Jun 24 Comment Hi Mel, A lovely wildlife portrait. The position of the branch leads your eye right to the bird. The colors are all done and the bird is sharp...the diffused background helps to focus your attention on the birdling. Well done!

This looks like a beautiful place to visit. The image evokes a feeling of being in a small French town. The color, texture and framing are all terrific.
Hopefully you were able to sample some of the shop's offerings!
Per John's comments while a polarizer may have helped with the reflections we all know that sometimes when traveling it's not possible to stop and put on a PL. So kudos to you for putting us in France!
