Hi Stan, Thanks for your comment. I can appreciate that this image is not to everyone's taste. I went `out on a limb' taking the tree photo. For me, part of the joy of photography is experimenting with different modes. Sometimes the images hit a chord with others sometimes they don't…so no reason to be sorry about not relating to the image. C'est la vie!

Hi Adi,
I think this is a fine image of a difficult subject to capture well. What I really like about the image is the sharp focus towards the center left and center right and the blurred motion in the center (right). It really evoked to me, at least, the feeling I get when I am at Grand Central Station--lots of folks moving purposely towards their destination while others either stop to chat or admire the beautiful architecture. The color, composition, framing and of course the exposure are all excellent.
All the best in 2024!

Hi Jay,
A wonderful travel photo. It's always challenging to do interesting street photography and to me you have succeeded in this...I'd certainly like to know more about the area ... Per Adi's suggestion trying a variety of crops might be interesting. I would even opt for an even more `radical' crop trying to focus in on the vendor's eyes and mouth. Yup, it was certainly worth 2 E.!
All the best for a good 2024.

Hi Mel,
This is a wonderful composition. Since you want to emphasize the street scene contrasted with the towers I think Jay's suggestion is a good one...Just a hint of the towers encompassing the street scene would only make the image stronger.
All the best in 2024!

Hi Harriet,
A very creative image. I agree with the points made by Adi & Jay. Also, had you considered trying the image in black & white? Monochrome might accentuate the highlights & shadows you want to emphasize.
All the best in 2024!

Hi John,
This image I think tells a great story about history...imagine this wall withstanding the march of centuries of events ...I like the colors & the textures . Per earlier comments I think cropping out the water will only make the image stronger.
All the best in 2024!

Hi Jay,
Thanks for your kind comments.Since the multiple exposures can be done in the camera with very little post processing it is basically a process of trial & error (mostly the latter! <g>). Norm |
