19 Jul 23 Comment Hi Jay, Nice reflections. It would be helpful to know what your settings were.The depth of field and focus sharpness seem to trail off near the edges of the image. The 60mm macro is capable of great sharpness -I myself find that using a tripod and creating a flat field for the object being photographed really helps. I have steady hands but the d-o-f in Macro is not very forgiving of any movement. Also, since this was debris it shouldn't be a problem to reposition the material to create a flat field. Hope this helps.

19 Jul 23 Comment Mel, a beautiful image, well composed and well captured-great shadows and highlights. One suggestion, it looks like you might have enough `degrees of freedom' to reduce the ISO even further-especially useful if you want to enlarge this or similar shots to be `wall hangers'.

19 Jul 23 Comment Hi Stan, This to me is a good travel image…I like the way you capture the Guardian and the crowds without the crowds being overwhelming. The color & exposure are spot on! One suggestion, you may want to try the patch or cloning tool to eliminate the tourists who appear to be part of the guardian.

19 Jul 23 Comment Hi Harriet, per the other comments I like the way the shadows play off the wall. One thing you might want to consider is putting an absorptive fabric (felt?) under the pitcher so that the reflections stand out more versus the table surface. Also, the sharpness of the pitcher tends to trail off…you might want to try a smaller aperture such as F 5.6 or F8. Norm Jul 8th
19 Jul 23 Comment Hi John, A thought provoking image…It creates the question of why are the birds at that particular spot? The exposure is good & capturing the bird in flight works as well. Although per the other comments you can hone in on a few birds it might also be interesting to tell the nature story' by showing more of the body of water & shoreline.
