Hi Stan, Jay & John, Many thanks for your kind comments. The challenge with night photography for me is scoping out the right composition during daylight hours and hoping it works when night falls. Exposure is often trial & error trying different shutter lengths with different ISOs. Per Jay's comment since I was shooting with a F4 lens & did not want to do star trails I tried to max my exposure time @ about 30" & not go too crazy on the ISO-it is a trade off. The post processing surprisingly isn't that difficult-I used Adobe Camera Raw & only had to tweak the image a bit. The key thing is to remember to dress warmly if you're out on a cold night!

Hi Bernie, This is a wonderful image documenting the bird's feeding. I like the sharpness of the eyes as well as the on point color of the feathers. My only suggestion would be to have the feeding portion a little further down in the image. There is space at the bottom that at least I think is not needed.

Jay, I really like what you have done here--creating what appears to be an abstract image out of a piece of architecture...Very creative. The `moodiness' of the sky enhances the shot. My only suggestion would be to consider brightening up the lower right part of the image.

Stan, This to me is a wonderful landscape/human interest image. The composition of the field with a `slice' of the sky kept my eyes engaged with the image. Having the 2 individuals wearing red just adds to the interest the image creates. Well done!

Hi Harriet, Rudolph is certainly a terrific subject. Good use of high key!. My only suggestion would be to get more of a sharp focus on Rudolph's eyes. A sharper focus on the eyes long with the detail in his fur can really make the image pop.

Hi John,
I like this shot! Excellent color & exposure - great whites & blues. The triangles formed by the various guide wires lend interest to the image...a variation on leading lines. Well done!
