Thanks Jay, Harriet & John, I appreciate your comments & agree with them. I was just very taken with the sky!…I did try the image in color but it just wasn't as dramatic.

Hi Jay,
An interesting street shot...it certainly captures one's interest. My only suggestion is to do something about the sky at the upper right--either crop it out or darken it...The sky is so light that my eye jumped to it immediately and not the main subject.

Hi Stan,
Great color!I agree with you about removing the refracted spots at the bottom-I think it detracts from the main subject...Although I can see why some might choose to keep the refractions in--they kind of lead you in/out of the frame.

Hi Harriet,
This is a wonderful image with a `time gone past' impact-sepia was a good choice. The way you've captured the farm house/barn is stunning. Also, you might want to consider increasing the contrast a bit so that the snow is further emphasized. In addition you might want to clone or patch out what looks to be a sheep (?) in back of the duck <it looks as if the sheep (?) is growing out of the duck--likely due to lens compression if you used a longer lens.

Hi John,
Agree with Jay that the bottom half would make an interesting abstract. You might want to consider further saturation so that the red is further emphasized.
