Hi Jay, Just a thought…Perhaps another alternative is to eliminate the platform entirely & see if you can crop to the 2 inner frames on the stage, straighten them, with the far streetlight as a point of interest?

Hi Carol, The wide angle lens used is fine but I think it would have been better to be closer to the people to show them a bit larger in the foreground…what is in the foreground makes a wide angle shot more interesting.

Hi Barbara,
A very pleasing image...I actually like the sky in the original image more...Perhaps you could consider adding some vibrance & saturation to the shore in the original image...Hmmm if a boat was on the water (preferably red) you would have a real winner here <g>.
Nice job.

Hi Jay,
I like the concept you are aiming for--the idea of a frame within a frame. You might want to consider straightening the image a bit so the structures don't appear to be slanting. Also, you might want to darken the sky a little. I'll bet that in a brilliant sunset these structures would really pop! And you might try getting as close to the ground as you could and shooting up through the structures with a wide angle lens with the steps in the immediate foreground.

Hi Carol,
Good color & exposure here. I liked the effort to show the scale of the falls by including the people at the bottom. I however would have liked to see them a bit larger in the frame. Getting closer--if possible-- would help as would a vertical orientation to the image--perhaps using a wide angle lens.

Hi Stan,
This is a beautiful image. The wide angle really draws you in & you feel as if you are there! Great color...I especially like how the shadows on the left hand side move your attention to the people in the street and then to the more lit parts of the image.

Hi Harriet,
A lovely composition and colors. The bloom is tack sharp.
I would however have preferred to also see more sharpness in the center of the flower as well--perhaps a larger f-stop would have helped? Also, were you using a dedicated macro lens?...The flat field of these lenses can sometimes help with sharpness...These are not essential for good macro shots but just something to consider. Also, while a larger F stop would also bring the background into sharper focus this may not be a problem here since the background is a uniform color.
Good job!

Hi John,
Terrific detail in the elephant's skin. And great blending of color with the rocks in front of the elephant. I would however have preferred to see more separation between the top of the elephant's head & the background--this would make the head stand out more. Perhaps shooting at a wider F stop might have helped ?
...Overall a good job!
