Hi Barbara, I really like the color for the temple and for the sky. I agree about cropping out the left branch and I would also suggest trying to straighten the temple. It's wonderful that you have something so lovely this close to home!

Hi Jay, A very good effort on a very tough subject...Many lilies have imperfections--<I guess that is nature! >...and this makes them hard to shoot unless you have cultivated them yourself and can avoid imperfections .For this image I think the center of the Lillie is colorful & near perfect& my suggestion would be to focus on only the center of the image.

Hi Carol, I agree with Jay & Barbara, this image just says JOY!!!!! and the leading lines are very effective. Per Barbara's comment I think cloning out the shed would help.

Hi Stan, This image has wonderful color and tells a story. My only questions to consider are: 1. can at least some of the cobblestone foreground be cropped out? and 2. can the structure be straightened a bit.

Hi Harriet,
Archie is a beautiful poodle!
Here are some questions to consider that might help the image further:
1. Should the coat be darkened a bit as well as the eyes to provide more drama?
2. Can Archie's head be turned a bit so that more of the left eye is showing?...need to do this without having his nose be the most prominent part of the image!<g>
3. Is the dog tag collar really needed here? I find it so bright as to be distracting from the subject.
Again, congratulations on having such a photogenic poodle!
