The composition of this image is well done. I also like the use of natural light to highlight the top most flower -it creates a pleasantly soft almost impressionistic image. Had you considered using an out of the picture reflector to light the lower left flower? A photo disc reflector would do the job as would a simple white surface or perhaps a silver surface (such as aluminum foil).

19 Feb 22 Comment Hi John, Per Barbara's comments I think this is a well exposed & well framed image.Depending on the F stop had you considered a more shallow depth of field to emphasize the outlines and deemphasize the surrounding rocks?

Per Barbara's comments a very good winter scene that tells a story.The fog certainly lends atmosphere.
...Had you also considered using a dehaze filter in post processing to see how that looked after adding more exposure to further whiten the snow? There is a dehaze option in Adobe Camera Raw in PS--I don't know about other programs.
