19 Jan 22 Comment Hi John, Thanks for your comment. Agreed that it's hard to believe it's NYC…yet this scene is located about 1/2 mile from the very busy avenue of Central Park South. Clearly city planners had tremendous foresight when they carved out a huge part of Manhattan (from about 110th st in the north & 59th st in the south) to create this magnificent park!

This is a lovely sunset image.

I like the way you framed the shot between the 2 trees. The sky & cloud colors are very good.

I wonder if shooting at F8 might have also helped if the focus was on the sky and deemphasizing the details on the trees?

This is a lovely image of the water lily. The colors are good and the use of 2 flowers in the background gives the image a wonderful sense of depth. I think your settings were just right and shooting at f4 & 1/1000 gave you the depth of field you needed and helped to tame the breeze. Well done!

What an interesting object to photograph!The lighting is just right and avoids any extreme highlights on the tricycle. Also, shooting it against the snow outside for me, at least, connotes the idea of the tricycle horse anxious to go out and play...For future images it might be fun for you to have a little kid on the tricycle. This is a pleasing architectural image. The monochrome treatment really suits it well. The clouds and the framing add an interesting atmosphere to the photo as do the roads in front of the building. Well done!
