Hi Barbara,
A very nice fall color image. I agree with the other comments and here are some additional ones to consider: would shooting with a lens wide than 70mm have been more appropriate to showing the grandeur of the lake and leaves?; did you use a polarizer...depending on the time of day this may make the leaves pop even more; did you use either PS or NX Studio to increase the vibrancy of the colors (NX Studio lets you cycle through various picture controls to see which looks best--a neat tool!) |

Hi Marian,
A beautiful image with an excellent use of long exposure times.
Some thoughts...would it have been possible to crop the foreground a bit and shoot upwards on the falls? would shooting upwards give an even better view of the rocks (now near the top of the image) being hit by the upper falls?

Hi Stan,
A beautiful image! I like the tonal gradation and the inclusion of the silhouette on the beach. Perhaps one thing to consider is ever so gently increasing the exposure on the beach so the viewer can see where the silhouette actually is.

Hi Harriet, I agree with the other comments and think this is a very good horse portrait. However, you don't mention what lens you used or how close you were ...you might want to consider a medium telephoto or getting closer to Luke...this would enable you focus more directly on Luke and eliminate the need to crop as much.

Hi John, A very nice image of the bird in a natural environment. I agree with the other suggestions especially increasing the contrast and trying a vignette. The eye focus is great! |

Thanks Barbara. I was fortunate to be there for such a lovely sunrise…and even more fortunate not to fall on my face while negotiating the boulders!😀 |
