19 Mar 21 Comment Hi Barbara,

You created a wonderful still life image--I think that the subject calls out for the monochrome treatment.

Some questions/ suggestions:had you considered cropping out or darkening the decaying part of the frame under the left pedal? Also, had you considered even higher contrast to make the image `pop' even more? If you haven't use NIK Silver EFEX you may want to give it a look & see if there are any free trials...this software has a number of creative ways to process monochromes--including a `vintage' look which might work here.

19 Mar 21 Comment Hi Carroll,
This is a great photo journalism like image! It is a wonderful use of a wide angle perspective. It shows the exuberance of the graduates in what was likely a `one shot' opportunity. The image would certainly be a terrific graduation memory for the two women!

Although you probably were not in a position to do anything about it, it would have been nice to keep the phone lines out of the image...and I think cropping wouldn't work because it might eliminate part of the grads cap as well as that lovely blue sky-c'est la vie. Also, I wonder if a fill flash might have helped to open the shadows a bit more?

...As for wanting to see the end of this pandemic...It cannot come soon enough!

19 Mar 21 Comment Hi Marcela,
This is a wonderful image-sharp with good color. I especially like the detail in the feathers & in the eyes.
My only questions are: did you consider cropping up a bit from the bottom to eliminate part of the fence(?); similarly, did you consider cropping a bit more from the right side of the image--it seems like negative space?

19 Mar 21 Comment Hi Harriet,
This image has achieved your purpose! Very good color & good use of selective focus to separate the main subject from the background..
`Just a couple of questions: had you considered using a more open F stop to further enhance the selective focus? Also, had you considered either getting closer to the subject (if possible) or using a lens with a longer focal length to further `zero in' on the subject with an emphasis on the upper blossom?
