A lovely image...I can see why you felt like the bird was speaking with you! I like the fact that the wide aperture faded out the background drawing the viewer towards the bird. Did you also consider further cropping so there is less of the water pool showing?...I find the reflections tend to draw me away from the bird. 		Oct 11th
19 Oct 20 Comment Hi Stan, A beautiful image! Reflections are tough to capture and I think the composition of this image does it well.I especially like the 3 layers of the image. Did you also consider perhaps open the shadows on the tree reflection in the lower right? I think this would add additional color & impact.

Great capture...these are difficult shots to get! Did you consider further cropping up from the bottom and in from the right? This would eliminate the bright end of the branch in the lower left & also bright spot on the right. It could also bring more attention to the Dove's eye.

A very nice shot--to me at least it conveys a feeling of solitude.

I like the layers as broken up by the boat as well-it adds dimensionality to the image. I also like the sky color & cloud placement. `Just some thoughts: did you consider cropping up from the bottom a bit to eliminate some of the mud flats? Also, did you consider brightening the red trim on the boat to make it pop a bit more?
