Hi Ann,
A lovely image that conveys the peacefulness of early morning.
I agree with Stephen that aside from the gradient filter the post processing can probably be toned down--while keeping those beautiful colors...Another suggestion might be to perhaps (?) crop a bit of the bottom portion of the image so that the boathouse doesn't appear so centered in the image. |

Phenomenal image Carroll! Wherever you look in the image you are drawn back to the farmer. I particularly enjoy the 3D like effect of having several `layers' to the shot-the reflection, the farmer, the end of one rice paddy & the beginning of another & then the tree line &sky. WOW! |

Hi Stan,
A great cell phone capture...great lighting for the building & lovely reflections!
A few minor suggestions...you may wish to use PS or LR to straighten the horizon...also had you considered using the clone stamp to eliminate the 2 bright lights on either side (so that the areas surrounding the lit building are dark)?

Hi Harriet,
I think this is a wonderful pet portrait. The expression makes it clear that this cat `means business' as do the nose scars!
A couple of minor suggestions...perhaps trying to darken the backlighting (?) on the fur on the kitty's spine <I find it a bit distracting>...Also, would there be a way to sharpen the eyes?--I think the focus may be a little soft. |

John, I think this is a very good `mood' image. It really gives me the feel of being on the coast as a storm is breaking. You may want to consider cropping a bit off the bottom of the image so that the horizon line doesn't run through the center of the image. |
