19 May 19 Comment Tracy, A nice capture of a difficult shot.
A few thoughts/suggestions,
-I have the same lens <love it> and I have had good success shooting at f5.6--this would enable you to bring your ISO down...but even on a tripod I would try to go for at least 1/1000 in shutter speed especially at 450mm
-I think there are 2 great images here the mother owl & then the chicks. If you shot each at F5.6 & focussed on the eyes I think you might get 2 terrific images.
-Also, since you are using a tripod you might want to give manual focus a try...I don't know if the D750 has LiveView but if it does that might help you if you can enlarge the image on the screen so you can see if the eyes are sharp.

19 May 19 Comment Carroll, I think this is terrific action image! The expressions on the fighters faces are great as is capturing the moment of contact with hands & feet. Well done! May 9th
19 May 19 Comment Marcela,
I think this is a beautiful image! I really like the water reflections.

Some suggestions/questions
-You might want to try to heighten the color of the flowers on the tree
-The plant (?) under the bridge arch is a bit distracting - perhaps it can be eliminated?
-The shadow on the pond at the lower left is a bit dark...had you considered opening that up a bit more?
-cropping in from the right might help eliminate that open spot in the forest & focus further attention on the bridge & pond

19 May 19 Comment Hi Stan, I think this is a good travel shot. Very good exposure.
Some suggestions/questions:
- were you able to get any shots of the chandelier at the far end?...it looks very interesting
--I agree that the 2 patrons add to the image but I think the white shirt of the waiter detracts from it...perhaps some PS `magic' could eliminate him (at least virtually>
--You also may want to use PS or LR to straighten the image...it seems a bit off kilter.

19 May 19 Comment Hi Harriet, A well done `barn yard portraits'...Since Simon seems willing to pose perhaps you might be able to get in a bit closer and focus on the eyes...that might make for an even more compelling image. May 9th
19 May 19 Comment I like this image John...great color.! Perhaps isolating the 6 leafed part on the left might make for an interesting abstract? May 9th
