19 Dec 18 Comment I agree with Bob's comments...I think the concept has lots of potential...Is there anyway you could get to say the second floor of a building that might be across the street and capture the reflection that way?...It would also help control the photos perspective. To me the interesting part of the image is the capitol rotunda...trying to zero in on that might be worthwhile. Dec 8th
19 Dec 18 Comment Beautiful image Carroll! Great exposure!...Just one suggestion...possibly cropping in from the left to eliminate the somewhat distracting shore lights and cropping up from the bottom & right to eliminate what appears (?) to be another ship. Dec 8th
19 Dec 18 Comment Nice image Bob...In addition to Tracy's suggestions would you consider darkening the foliage further to create an even more vibrant `pop' in the butterfly?...My eye is drawn to the top of the insect and the bright red flower so perhaps (?) not too much would be lost by cropping in tighter at the bottom? My only suggestions are: to perhaps consider cropping out much of the left hand side to focus attention on the main pagoda & people praying; and to straighten the image a bit more (although that might mean cropping the bottom further--but it looks like there is room to do this) Dec 8th
19 Dec 18 Comment Nice composition of a tough subject...would you consider making 2 images out of this so that the flowers don't compete? My own preference is the upper flower--it seems to have more color. Dec 8th
19 Dec 18 Comment A fun photo! I agree with Tracy's suggestion about cropping. Also, you might want to try to open the shadows on Minnie's face and reduce the highlights on the life preserver so the name of the ship stands out more. Dec 8th
