The picture is improved by cropping away the bottom branches which didn't get any direct light. When I couldn't get the shot I wanted I turned to thinking about a compositie. |

Thanks for posting the image. I've seen very few vultures. |

Isaac, what amazing skin colorations! The tongue adds a wonderful touch to the image. It is hard to think of this creature as dangerous. It is truly beautiful. |

Marie, I am partial to the color version. I love clouds in blue skies. I took you original color version and applied "cloud sculpting" to it. This is done with Nik's Viveza. By using control points I applied structure, selectively, to the clouds on the right side. I've attached that image after applying the structure on the right side and the original. Very nice image! |

Barbara, what a beautiful image. It is an excellent example of how important is a catch light in the eye. If it hadn't been so sharp you never would have been able to make such a strong crop and end up with a winner! |

Maria, you truly are an artist! The impact of all the splashing water compared to the sharp feathers is truly amazing. |

Bruce, there's an amazing story in the details of this image. His nails establish him as a formidable creature! Great shot! |
