Thanks, Adrian. When I am involved in underwater photography I feel like I have super powers! It is amazing to be a part of the underwater world. |

Isaac, I am intrigued with this image. Style is such an important component of our individual photography. So often I add contrast to my images but I really appreciate the evenness of the lighting in your image. It reminds me of a course I took from Stephen Johnson, a west-coast photographer. His images always have such "light" which reaches the viewer. I appreciate this in your image, too. Thanks for sharing. |

Adrian, I have fond memories of visions seen at the end of a long hike! For years I taught a photography class for Colorado State University at their mountain campus (10,000 ft. in elvation) in Rocky Mtn. Natl. Park. The final view makes up for all the physical effort it took to get there.
Recently, I have been processing family shots taken on a very bright day with frequent clouds. I found the clarity slider and the recent haze removal tools to be helpful. I tried these tools (plus a bit increased contrast) on the original image.
I, too, like the appearance of the pointed bottom of the lake. Great shot! |

Marie, I always appreciate seeing the personality of animals. This parallels my preference for action human portraits over studio ones. This image challenges me to try to figure out which part is which squirrel! I really like the bit of green leaves which help frame the image. |

Maria, it is nice to see the original image. I am enjoying your artistic approach to the composition! The soft background helps to focus attention on the personality of your little chick. I will look forward to your future shared images. |

Bruce, this is a very interesting shot. The details could make me believe that it was carved from wood! I'm not a bird photographer so I really appreciate such beautiful captures. |

I was able to stay within the range of my strobe so I got enough color to know what to enhance. My underwater photography is gentle diving. I never enter the water with a strong current (no photography possible in current). Like most skills, diving becomes easier and more comfortable with time. While I wouldn't recommend starting in the elderly years, it is quite a suitable late-life hobby for an experienced diver. |
